Hello There.

I’m Natalie and I’m a bit of a Renaissance woman.

Renaissance woman: one who has wide interests and is expert in several areas; well-educated, sophisticated.

How does that influence my writing? I create stories that hold true to excellent characters and detailed story worlds, while taking place in a variety of genres and eras.

Some of my varied interests and skills are:

  • Music (I play piano and trombone)

  • Sports (I ski and played softball, but I love jumping into a fun game of whatever. Recently, that’s been volleyball.)

  • Languages (I speak 4 languages, and love learning new ones as well as the culture that influence them.)

  • Cooking/baking (Food. Need I say more?)

  • Crafting (cross-stitch, book safes, card binding, sewing - I keep collecting them, and never seem to lose any.)

  • Tool-savvy (something needs to be dug, drilled, screwed, or hammered? I can help.)

  • History (I love it, I got a degree in it)

  • Travel (currently up to 16 countries I’ve been to, planning a 17th, and have no intention of stopping there)

Achievements

  • Attended Write to Publish and RealmMakers conferences.

  • Published in Linfield University’s literary journal, Camas

  • Started my own business

  • Completed a 78,000 word novel and received a dev. edit letter
